Invited onto the Jordan De Luxe set this Monday, November 4, the former host of the show “Gym Tonic” Véronique de Villèle spoke about her meditation at the body of Alain Delon, shortly before the actor's funeral.
Véronique de Villèle had been friends with Alain Delon for over 55 years and had never lost contact. In the show “Jordan de Luxe” on C8 she says:
Anthony came up to me and said, 'Come on, let's go see Dad.' He took my hand and we put our cell phones in a basket. And yes, it left a mark on me. I'll think about it for the rest of my life. It shocked me, not traumatized me. What was absolutely extraordinary was that even dead, he was handsome. He wasn't wearing makeup, he had a freshly trimmed beard, the children had organized everything well. He had a nice haircut, with a nice shirt. He told me 20 times: he had a big brown leather bed that he never left. I knew this bed on avenue de Messine, with Romy Schneider, rue François Ier and quai Kennedy. He kept saying: 'This bed will be my deathbed'
