Vanessa Paradis was born on December 22, 1972 in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés (Val-de-Marne). She began her artistic career very early by taking piano and dance lessons. In 1987, she released her first album “Joe le Taxi” which propelled her to the top of the charts. She wins the Victory of Music for female recording artist of the year in 1990.
