One month after filming Cross Battles, Giulia was at Paris. She gave an interview to Figaro and explained the reasons for his condition during the show.

I was sick but I didn't want to talk about it right away. I preferred to excuse tonal problems with the song because I wasn't comfortable with the choices that had been made. Between this annoyance, the stress and the illness, I was not in the best psychological condition. I had stomatitis, it's an inflammation of the inside of the mouth, I had mouth ulcers on the palate and tongue, it was very painful. I could no longer articulate or sing properly. And above all, I could no longer eat enough. I was too disabled and weakened to be competitive on “The Voice.” Amel Bent was informed at the last moment, when I felt unwell during rehearsals. The production doctor was worried and recommended that I withdraw from “The Voice” because my blood pressure was too low. But I didn't want to leave like that.

Giulia Falcone

Giulia Falcone was born in Florence, Italy on January 1, 2006, she lives in Sarzana, a pretty town in Liguria. Giulia is studying in her second year at a Linguistics High School.

She began studying ballet at age 3 and tap dancing at age 11.

During 2018, Giulia began studying piano and is currently being followed by Maestro Stefano Bacchi.

In 2016, at the age of ten, she began studying singing. In 2017, she participated in her first competition. It was on this occasion that Giulia met Eloisa Deriu, a teacher and singer whose voice ranges from opera, blues, jazz to pop.

It was with Eloisa Deriu, her current Vocal Coach, that in 2018 Giulia undertook a serious course of study. Already winner of the scholarship with the International Competition “Expectation of Europe”, Giulia won in 2018, under the direction of Eloisa, the first prize in the National Competition “Metodo Pass Coppa Italia” and a scholarship in London where she met Maestro Stuart Calvert and actor/singer Nigel Richards.

In 2019, his passion for France led him to want to participate in The Voice Kids France. Although Giulia is unable to participate in the television show broadcast on TF1, Giulia continues to study the French language and the French repertoire.

In May 2020, Giulia publishes on her Facebook Page a video of her interpretation of the very famous piece by Serge Lama “I am sick”.

On this interpretation, she received in a few days an incredible and unexpected success with more than 15 million views.

Giulia repeats the success in September, after the publication of his interpretation of “SOS from an earthling in distress” reaching more than 20 million views.

A magnificent song written to exploit the rare range of Daniel Balavoine, composed by Michel Berger and written by Luc Plamondon in 1978 for the rock opera Starmania.

And even a superb cover of “Le monde est stone”.
