Le 'Ori tahiti is an artistic, social and cultural practice of Tahiti and Society Islands. It is the most practiced dance form in the Polynesian ensemble, which embodies Tahitian cultural identity. THE 'ori tahiti has never been so popular. On the only island of Tahiti, there are around fifty schoolsori tahiti, or more than 2 practitioners.

Abroad, and more particularly in Japan and Mexico, Polynesian dance never ceases to seduce and there are tens of thousands of fans moving to the rhythm of Polynesian to'ere.
Le Heiva i Tahiti takes place every year in July, and has done so since… 1881. The Heiva i Tahiti, it is a traditional song and dance competition. Demanding, restrictive, structured; it is the temple of the expression of 'ori tahiti. The event brings together several hundred dancers each year and attracts thousands of spectators.

The 'Ori Tahiti Nui Competitions is a Tahitian dance competition, open to all nationalities, presenting individually or as part of companies and to local or international Tahitian dance schools. This is an opportunity for these international dancers to come and confront the Polynesians. The competition, which takes place over two days, ends with the Tahitian dance world championship, the ORI TAHITI WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.
