173Le Parisien announces that Slimane will give a free concert on the afternoon of July 26, just before the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. A stage will be installed, for the occasion, at the foot of the Basilica of Saint-Denis , Place Victor Hugo. The concert will be broadcast live on France 2 around 16:30 p.m.
The Olympic flame will arrive on July 26 at St Denis, before joining the banks of the river at the end of the day. Seine and Tuileries garden for the opening ceremony. In the middle of the afternoon, the flame will pass over the roof of the famous Basilica where are buried the kings of France. According to newspaper information Le Parisien, Slimane is scheduled to perform on July 26 during a free show. The artist, who should be accompanied by a symphony orchestra, will perform as part of the last stage of the Olympic torch relay in the Paris region.
