Remember the Perrier ad from the 1990s?
Perrier's "La lionne" is the only French film to have received the Grand Prix at the International Advertising Film Festival in 1991, in the Film category. The director, Jean-Paul Goude, had initially planned to shoot the face-to-face scene with the actress and a model lion. However, after several days of filming, he considered that the sequence lacked realism. He therefore decided to film the actress and a real lion, separately. The editing, carried out in Paris, allowed the special effects to bring all the realism necessary to the scene, in particular a deformation of the actress's mouth. To obtain a lion with its mouth wide open, the team had to wait until it yawned.
