Patrice Laffont is dead! He loved “Des Ciphers et des Lettres” so much that in 1986, he sang “Je déchiffre ses lettres” in a duet with Bénédicte.

Patrice Laffont died this Wednesday morning at his home in Oppède, in the Luberon (Vaucluse). He would have celebrated his 85e next August 21. The host suffered a heart attack. He had hosted emblematic programs such as Des Chiffres et des Lettres, Pyramide, and Fort Boyard.

After having collaborated on the television magazine Today Madam in 1972 he became famous by presenting Numbers and letters for 17 years, from January 4, 1972 to January 9, 1989, before becoming producer in 2000.

In 1986 he even recorded a song with his co-presenter at the time Bénédicte Galey. The title was titled “I decipher his letters"
