Live from Stone and Charden “Made in Normandy”

Made in Normandy is a single by Stone and Charden released in 1973. It is their second major hit after L'avventura. The song tells the story of an American GI parachuted in during World War II and who discovers Normandy, bringing back from France not the idea of war but memories of the region.

The duo was formed by Annie Gautrat, known by the stage name Stone, and Eric Charden. They have had several memorable hits such as "The adventure", "Made in Normandy"There is sun on France", and "The Price of Matches”. Their music was light, catchy and left its mark on a generation. Unfortunately, Eric Charden died in 2012, but Stone continues to perform and celebrate their musical heritage.
