Julien Doré is preparing his return with a new album entitled “Impostor“, which will be composed exclusively of covers. Among other guests, we find the American Star Sharon Stone. So how did the singer manage to convince her?
Indeed, Julien Doré convinced the American star Sharon Stone to put his voice on one of the covers making up the album “Impostor” which should be released soon. The song chosen for this original duet is “ words, words », the tube of Dalida, adapted from a song by the Italian star Mina, with Alberto Lupo. Sharon Stone et Julien Doré met in 2009. He played the piano and sang during a Cannes party in which the actress was present.
The star arrived, sat next to me and listened to me. Lots of people came then. In the end, we had to exchange two sentences. Since then, we have sent each other three messages on Instagram...When I started working on this cover album, I had Alain Delon and Dalida in mind and the idea that a woman would cover Delon's lyrics and I would cover those by Dalida. Very quickly, I thought of Sharon. So I sent him a message. She answered me right away. She was very enthusiastic. As she was coming to Berlin (for the Berlinale last February), we went to see her there to record our duet… simple as that!
