Patrick Sébastien was the victim of a montage that went viral on social networks and was produced using artificial intelligence. This Tuesday, July 9, he spoke to restore the truth and clarify that it was identity theft.
Hello friends, I wanted to have you say a little word about a little extra crap. It’s something that was done on the networks, something that’s going viral, a song called: “Ma b*te sur ton Front Populaire”, which is attributed to me even though it’s absolutely not me who did this... It’s definitely not my values and not my way of expressing myself on this subject. I obviously find this disgusting. Don't be fooled by all these headlines that say I sing something like that, it's not true. It's not me, it was made with artificial intelligence it seems. It will never be worth the natural bullshit... Despite the titles we read, it's not me who sings this bullshit. Me, at the moment I'm on stage, I'm waiting for you everywhere...it's going really well, […] We're just partying and we're far from this bullshit and this identity theft
It all started with a tweet posted on July 2 by the account Dicatvenir, a satirical media outlet which published the following tweet on its “X” account:

A malicious Internet user also went further by publishing a song on the same theme with images and the voice of Patrick Sébastien, all doctored using special software.
We have made the decision not to broadcast this song
