30Suffering from a rare eye disease, Hélène Ségara has undergone 17 operations. VSn Sunday October 1st, in the show “Let yourself be tempted” on RTL she spoke with emotion on this subject.

In passing, she castigated certain media which reveal untruths about the identification of her illness.
I had a terrible two years. Terrible. Trying to keep smiling, working but as a dilettante because I was quite exhausted. One morning I told myself that I had to fight even harder, that I had to continue doing what I was doing. I tried a new treatment which stabilized me, and I started raising funds for an eye association, which supports diseases like mine. It can affect anyone. I was perfectly healthy, I had 12 in each eye before waking up almost blind. Sight is a sense that we cannot do without. I spent months without being able to watch TV, my phone, or peel an apple. I can tell you it changes a life.
