Yvan Cassar was born on December 12, 1966 in Rennes. He grew up in an artistic world and spent hours listening to his father play music. At 8 years old, his parents decided to enroll him in the conservatory of Reindeer. He then joined the Nantes Conservatory, then the National Superior Conservatory of Music in Paris. He has worked with many French artists as an arranger, producer or musical director: Claude Nougaro, Johnny Hallyday, Charles Aznavour, Céline Dion, Jean-Jacques Goldman, Patricia Kaas, Pascal Obispo, Jacques Dutronc, Michel Sardou, Florent Pagny, Grégory Lemarchal, Roberto Alagna or, Mylène Farmer.
Since 2015 and until today, the composer Yvan Cassar has been the artistic and musical director of classical music shows for France Télévision.
Finally, over the last 4 years, Yvan Cassar has produced several albums including Johnny Symphonic Act I and Act II. In 2024, the project is back on stage with a symphony orchestra and more than 100 artists! The show will be enhanced by an incredible staging to accompany these exceptional recordings of the voice of Johnny Hallyday.
