Katy Perry has just sold part of her musical catalog for $225 million.

Katy Perry has been more discreet in recent years to devote a little more to her family. That said, very recently, she has just hit the jackpot by selling part of her musical catalog, just like others did before her Bruce Springsteen, Justin Bieber ou Sting. The rights concern more specifically five albums, published between 2008 and 2020 on the label Capital Records : " One of the Boys”, “Teenage Dream”, “Prism”, Witness” and “Smile ". They were sold for 225 million dollars (or more than 210 million euros) to Litmus Music, a company specializing in the management of musical rights. The company will therefore receive all future royalties relating to the music of Kate Perry on these albums.
