Happy birthday to Danièle Gilbert (81 years old), Star host of variety shows in the 70s/80s.

Danièle Gilbert was born on March 20, 1943 in Chamalières Puy de Dome. His mother was a photographer and his father was a hero, resisting during the Second World War. Having joined French television in 1967, she had a busy career for around twenty years. Thus, we find her at the presentation of “Midi Magazine","Half past twelve" or "Midi Premiere“. In 1981, the election of François Mitterrand leads to the dismissal of Danièle Gilbert, she who had publicly displayed herself as a supporter of Valéry Giscard d'Estaing. Since then, she has only made a few appearances on “reality TV” shows. Unfortunately, the 81-year-old host can no longer blow out her candles alongside her companion, Patrick scemama, whom she affectionately called her “Patch“. After sharing his life for more than 28 years, she had to tell him “farewell“… and attend his funeral, in a Parisian cemetery, on November 2, 2018.
