Confinement requires, Major Lazer showed imagination to offer a touching and above all, inspiring clip. So, they called on creators, artists and anonymous people to create this clip. The only instruction? " be yourself " ! Obviously, the call did not go unnoticed: They received more than 1,000 videos, selecting 208 of them from more than 30 different countries!
The vast majority of artists present in the video have also donated their fees to charitable associations. “When we started working on this idea a month ago, Covid-19 had just started to spread around the world”, explains the director. “During these three weeks, we received videos from all over the world. We received way more response than we expected and it was great to see so many different interpretations of what we asked for. It was touching to see all these people taking the time to learn the dance or song in such a short time. Positivity and genuine love is something I wanted to share with this video”.
"Sincere love" et “positivity” are probably the one and only two things the world needs right now.
