First, Dave responds to a “fraudulent” SMS offering him to pay an unpaid parking ticket via his smartphone. After he responds, a fake bank advisor contacts him by telephone to inform him that his bank details have been hacked and manages with skill and persuasion to obtain his address. The scammer then shows up at the singer's home and manages to recover the card and the code without too much difficulty. In hindsight, Dave finally finds the situation a little cavalier and decides to contact his bank which informs him of the damage: 30 euros have been stolen.
Eventually, things worked out for Dave. The police managed to find the crook and he got his money back.
Be carefull ! This type of scam is becoming more and more common.
