Jane Fonda was obviously delighted to hear the name of Justine Triet to receive the Palme d'Or ! The two women fell into each other's arms. Justine Triet collected her prize then she went to thank the Jury who rewarded her. But during that time, a hilarious (but stealthy) moment happened: Jane Fonda did not have time to give the diploma of the Palme d'Or à Justine Triet. In the rush, she threw the parchment at the French director who caught the paper in the back, before David Thion pick it up from the ground and give it to him. This moment of the closing ceremony has already made the rounds on social networks and is obviously the subject of humorous comments, as the sequence is unexpected but also very spontaneous on the part of Jane Fonda.
