Monday evening took place the Met Gala in New York, the biggest evening in fashion. A host of celebrities, including the French Aya Nakamura, walked the red carpet for the opening of the Costume Institute's major exhibition.

Since 1995, Met Gala raised $223,5 million. The gala has become the most prestigious and publicized event in the fashion industry. Co-chaired by the actress Zendaya, the singer Jennifer Lopez, Australian actor Chris Hemsworth and the prince of Latin rap Bad Bunny, this edition presents exceptional old archives, often too fragile to be exhibited. Aya Nakamura, the French artist most listened to abroad, made a surprise appearance for her first Met Gala. She wore a long slit dress embroidered with crystals and flowers, a nod to the theme of the evening but also to the fashion show Balmain spring-summer 2024 where bouquets reigned supreme.
