Aside from his work with the band Fountains Of Wayne, best known for the mega-hit “Stacy's Mom” and their two Grammy Award nominations, Schlesinger has been recognized for his work in the film and television industry. He has won three Emmy Awards and a Grammy during his career.

Schlesinger also earned an Academy Award and Golden Globe nomination for his work on That Thing You Do!
