42Guest on the show A dimanche à la Campagna de Frederic Lopez, Chimene Badi returned to a very painful moment in her life. She recalled an encounter that turned her life upside down and caused her to gain a lot of weight. She bursts into tears when she talks about it.:
We can lose weight, but if we're not necessarily cured of the brain, well, we're not cured. So it can start again. And in fact, (…) I had this first weight loss, but difficult things happened and unpleasant encounters in my job. It's someone who is going to screw you up, who is going to screw up your career, who is going to screw up your mind, who is going to screw up your person… And who is going to make a bit of a puppet out of you. It's meeting a person who will turn your life upside down, but not in a good way. Today, it's an immense evil, but for an immense good because this experience made me understand a lot of things, and that's when I began to understand, and to regain confidence in myself.. But indeed, I had regained weight because I was treating myself with all that (pointing to the food on the table, editor's note). In fact, I was calming down, we were filling a void. But it's pure pain on the other hand, because at the moment, maybe it soothes, but behind it we are so disappointed in ourselves, disappointed in hurting ourselves too, like that for free for 'others. It's terrible, but with strength, with the desire to get through it, with the right entourage, we get there, we can get there.
