After a successful and award-winning 50-year career in Italy and around the world, with over 80 million albums sold and over 2000 concerts, UMBERTO TOZZI is saying goodbye to the live stage with an extraordinary world tour, “L'ULTIMA NOTTE ROSA THE FINAL TOUR.” He was in Basel on May 5th at the superb, legendary Stadtcasino. He will be at the Olympia on May 11th, the only French date.

Umberto Tozzi is one of the most iconic artists of Italian pop music, with international hits such as I love you, Gloria et Sea people2. He began his musical career in 1968 with the group Off Sound, before experiencing his first major success in 1977 with I love you, which will remain at the top of the charts for several months. His musical style oscillates between pop, rock and Italo disco, and he has managed to cross the decades by adapting his repertoire to market developments. In the years 1980 and 1990, he continues to produce albums and reinvent himself, notably winning the Sanremo Festival in 1987 with We can give more, in collaboration with Gianni Morandi and Enrico Ruggeri. He also participates in theEurovision 1987 with Sea people, in duet with Raf. His career experienced a resurgence in popularity in the 1990s. 2000, notably thanks to collaborations and covers of his flagship titles. He remains a key figure in Italian and European music. He continues to perform on stage, notably with his farewell tour “L’ULTIMA NOTTE ROSA – THE FINAL TOUR”.
