74Unlike in previous years, this Saturday, April 5, 2025, the singers did not compete in a battle, but in groups. The coaches had their talents compete in groups of three or four. They could then choose to keep one candidate per group or more. The goal was to keep only 3 talents for the next round.
While the evening's performances were of high quality, internet users criticized the overly rushed format. Indeed, a quarter of the candidates were eliminated after singing only a few bars buried in a song lasting a few minutes as a quartet. The "Group" format is interesting for viewers who enjoyed the audio, but it needs to be refined to be less rushed. It's impossible to objectively judge a vocal performance based on a shortened song sung by four people!
