The 78-year-old American artist Patti Smith fainted on stage on Wednesday, January 29, in São Paulo (Brazil). After being taken care of by emergency services, she returned in a wheelchair to perform her songs "Wing" and "Because the Night". Later on her Instagram account she specified that everything was fine "Believe me, I'm fine". That said, she canceled her concert scheduled for Thursday also in São Paulo.

Patti Smith "is recovering well, but our doctors say she needs a little more time to be as well as possible," the 78-year-old singer said in a statement. "She had been suffering from a severe headache the last few days and felt dizzy on stage," the singer informed via an Instagram story published Wednesday evening.
