Patrick Bruel, chosen by the Île-de-France regional council, will be one of the torchbearers of the Olympic flame during its visit to the royal city on July 23.

It was Valérie Pécresse (president of the regional council) who called me to ask me if I wanted to participate in this beautiful human adventure. I accepted, I'm delighted. Two hundred meters will be fine, it has nothing to do with what I cover every night on stage during a tour!
Patrick Bruel is therefore one of the 23 torchbearers (including the former tennis player Arnaud Clement, the former Miss France Sylvie Tellier or the oldest Olympic champion Charles Coste, 100 years) chosen by the Regional Council byIle-de-France to carry the Olympic flame as it crosses the eight Ile-de-France departments.
