According to information from New Obs, Emmanuel Macron will present the badges of Grand Officer of the National Order of Merit à Michel Sardou at the Élysée next June. This new distinction was announced in a decree of November 29, 2023 published in the Official Journal, when the singer was already officer of the National Order of Merit for 28 years (1996).
