2044This Tuesday, April 8, Lio was a guest on the show “C à vous” on France 5. The singer returned to the comments she received after the sudden death of her son Diego last March after her appearance on stage.
On March 2nd, Lio learned of the death of Diego, her youngest son aged 21. He was discovered lifeless on the road from Noyer au Chat, in the town of Tremblay-en-France, near Roissy airport. A few days after Diego's death, Lio returned to the stage but had never spoken about the tragedy until now. This Tuesday, April 8th, the mother confided for the first time about her son's death on the set of C à vous.
I received a lot of testimonies telling me that I must not love my son enough to be able to go on stage.... I simply say necessity is law. I have to work and I still have other children, I have grandchildren, necessity is law.
