At 94, Line Renaud is waging a final battle: the right to choose her death. Patron of the Association for the right to die with dignity, she puts her notoriety at the service of this cause. The Minister of Health Agnès Firmin Le Bodo has also announced for December the presentation to the Council of Ministers of a bill on active assistance in dying. The TV film “The Next Journey” which is scheduled on France 2 on Wednesday October 11 is adapted from the play “The lovers of Lutetia", written by Laurent Baffie and inspired by the true story of a couple who killed themselves in the famous Parisian palace in 2013.
