Performed by P.Lion, “Dream” is remembered for having been the theme song for the Top 50, a musical program launched on November 4, 1984 by Canal+. MTV being only available to satellite dish owners, the show presented by Marc Toesca allowed every Saturday to take stock of the latest releases and discover the ranking of the 50 best sales of the week.

A true institution from 1984 to 1993, this weekly meeting was introduced by a “hello little nails” from Toesca, and the title Dream by P Lion. This Italian artist (real name Pietro Paolo Pelandi) enjoyed success in the 80s with 2 titles, “Dream” and “Happy Children”
The Top 50 continued on the W9 channel but lost its splendor.
P.Lion for his part never regained the glory of those years despite a few attempts. Coming from a noble family, the Italian inherited the status of Count upon the death of his father.
